Last day in February Closing for 2018 Bed Race Entries

The last day in February is the closing date for entries to be received for the 2018 Great Knaresborough Bed Race, say organisers the Knaresborough Lions. "All details are on the entry form, but as in past years we may have more teams wishing to take part than the 90 maximum places.

"If we do, we will hold a lottery in early March to which all entrants will be invited," says the club.
The 2018 Great Knaresborough Bed Race will be the 53rd staging of this fantastic event. Bed Race is in two parts: the fancy dress spectacle of teams and beds adorned in the theme of the year, and the race itself run over a gruelling 2.4 mile course, up almost perpendicular climbs and finishing with a swim across the River Nidd.
This year's theme is 'A Night at the Theatre', which is expected to be a sure bet to bring out the creative best of the teams and their supporters.
